I've been a patron of Howard's for a many number of years, because I prefer to support the "Mom and Pop" establishments. They also offer daily specials where you can get a lot of food for a great price. I appreciate that on Sunday, its breakfast all day (6am-2pm). The country omelet was amazing- it was loaded with sausage, peppers, and onions, plus, it had gravy laden on the top. I chose the home fries as my potato option and it came with a biscuit. The omelet was so good that I didn't even bother touching the potatoes or the biscuit. My fiance ordered The Hungry Man breakfast, with a ham steak, eggs, french toast, and a biscuit. He devoured just about everything with the exception of the french toast, since it's such a big breakfast. The service was okay considering since we arrived at around 1:30pm. The food was out within 10 minutes of us placing our order. However, there are a few things that the staff could be doing to utilize their time while getting ready to close.. I noticed that the "knick knacks" on the walls were very dusty. It wasn't dust from that day, it was dust that had accumulated from WEEKS of the particular item sitting on the shelves. (I'm not one to pick out all the flaws about an establishment, but seriously, get a swiffer.) Other then that, the breakfast was great and the service was okay. I think we will give it another shot.

The staff is friendly and the prices are low but the food quality is really on par with the prices. I ordered an omlet and first off noticed that they used processed cheese squares for their cheese and there were way too many onions and peppers (really an obscene amount) in the omlet, I couldn't taste anything but onions. I think its really just a local before work breakfast crowd sort of place.

Food is always great, staff is friendly, hearty portions, good prices and quick service. What else could you ask for?? We usually get breakfast but the club sandwiches are good too.

Never judge a book by its cover! The food it great! You can tell they use quality, fresh ingredients! If they had a little inside out makeover they'd be a real force to be reckoned with. Their Philly Cheesesteak is amazing!

I give it to Howard's for being a local and still operating diner. The staff is friendly and the food is served within 10-12 minutes from ordering, but the again, what is to be expected from a breakfast and lunch diner. I always order the two eggs any style plate with hash browns and toast. The dish itself is very straight forward and no garnish. I would love to see some more flavor in the hash browns. I just recently moved down the road, so I'll keep coming into Howard's for a quick breakfast before work. The prices are dirt cheap and there are always coupons on the little coupon book. Stop by and enjoy some quick traditional american food; will have to stop by for lunch.

It was ok. Nothing special at all. Got a lame egg bfast and asked for a side of house potatoes. It was just fried potatoes, no seasoning or anything. Cant beat the prices, and I see why. Bland. Maybe their lunch or dinner is better? I wouldnt know cuz I will never go back. If they can make it, then anyone can LOL

Good solid breakfast lunch diner. Food is decent but nothing fancy. Coffee is good, staff is friendly and service is quick. What more can you ask for from a diner?
